The Bible tells us that the Lord takes pleasure in the prosperity of his servants. In other words, God is pleased when we get ahead; he wants us to become successful. I have heard countless sermons that explore the spiritual side of prosperity. The problem is there seems to be much less information about the hands-on, practical side of Christian prosperity. Since God said he wants his people to be successful it makes perfect sense that he would provide his servants with some tips on how to get there.

Prosperingservant.com is an attempt to highlight the instructions in the Bible that tell Christians what specific actions they can take in their careers and their lives to be more successful.

At this point I should take a moment to be clear about what I am not. First, I am not a pastor, minister or Bible teacher. I never went to seminary nor do I have any formal religious training or credentials.

Rather, I am a Christian working in the corporate world. I manage a department within a Fortune 500 company. Through this experience, I have found that there are a number of Biblical principles that have practical application in my every day work life. Any success that I have experienced can be traced back to following these principles and most of my problems can be traced back to breaking one or more of them.

I hope that ProsperingServant.com will help you to see how these Biblical truths have helped me and how they might help you.
